Workshop on the Dual Vocational Education and Training (PJDVET – Erasmus+) Project at Khawarizmi University Technical College

Amman – October 21, 2025
Khawarizmi University Technical College (KUTC) hosted a dynamic workshop titled “Introducing Dual VET to KUTC” as part of the Erasmus+ PJDVET project, which aims to modernize vocational education in Jordan and Palestine by integrating academic learning with real-world workplace training.

Led by Ms. Suzan Qadomi, Executive Manager, and attended by key stakeholders including Mr. Sultan Qadomi, Vice Chairman of the Board, and representatives from European and Palestinian partner institutions, the event marked a significant step toward adapting the German Dual VET model to the Jordanian context.

The workshop engaged faculty and department heads in discussions on curriculum development, private sector collaboration, and capacity building. Participants emphasized the importance of aligning education with labor market needs to enhance graduate employability.

KUTC reaffirmed its commitment to pioneering this initiative and contributing to a national model for Dual Vocational Education and Training in Jordan.
