About
Transforming Vocational Education in Palestine and Jordan
The Palestine-Jordan Dual Vocational Education and Training (PJDVET) project is a strategic initiative co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme. It aims to develop and implement a sustainable Dual VET model tailored to the educational and labor market needs of Palestine and Jordan.
Inspired by successful European systems—particularly the German Dual VET model—PJDVET introduces a balanced approach that integrates academic instruction with structured, hands-on training in real work environments. This dual system enhances employability, bridges the gap between education and industry, and prepares youth for meaningful careers.
Key Objectives
- Develop a two-year diploma program aligned with EQF Level 5
- Customize curricula to local contexts while maintaining international standards
- Train VET staff through mobility visits and capacity-building workshops
- Engage stakeholders including ministries, accreditation bodies, and employers
- Disseminate tools, strategies, and policy recommendations for long-term impact
PJDVET is more than a reform project—it’s a collaborative effort to redefine vocational education as a dynamic, inclusive, and future-ready pathway for youth across the region.
